CollegeChris attended Wake Forest University and played for the Demon Deacons for two seasons, leading the school to two NCAA Tournaments, including one Sweet Sixteen appearance. He broke five Wake Forest Basketball freshman records which are in three-point percentage, free throws, free throw percentage, assists, and steals, while he was there. He was ranked second in Wake Forest's all-time career leaders for 3-point shooting percentage (.469), and 7th in assists and steals. After his sophomore year, Chris declared for the 2005 NBA Draft.
NBA DraftChris Paul had decided to enter the 2005 NBA Draft. With that, he got drafted to the New Orleans Hornets as a 1st round pick. He was elected fourth overall. The Hornets are now owned by the NBA. Now, Chris is said to be the best point guard in the National Basketball Association. Chris was recently traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. On December 14, the Hornets and Clippers agreed on a trade sending Chris Paul and two future second round draft picks to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' first round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
